Hammered, beaten, pitted texture copper fireplace hood, forged steel strapping, copper rivets, shown in medium antique patina. This beautiful Arts & Crafts home, also built by Gene & Joseph Mross, received the Best of Show Award during the Eugene Tour of Homes and The AIA Southwestern Oregon People's Choice Award, 1998: Second Place. It was featured in the architectural design theory book Patterns of Home, The Ten Essentials of Enduring Design (see pages 174-177) and in New Arts and Crafts Houses. Other metal elements created by Archive Designs include wrought iron railing, kitchen hood, hammered copper panels and post caps. |
